Nirmaan is a constructive citizen movement for an empowered India, thereby making the world a better place to live in. Nirmaan was founded in 2005 by a group of BITS-Pilani University students with a passion for humanity and to fulfil their responsibility towards the less privileged brothers & sisters.

“For A Better Tomorrow” (FBT) is pleased to announce a collaborative partnership with Nirmaan Organization (Nirmaan) to work on a series of Collective Impact project efforts in India from 2015 through 2017. This partnership, led by an Executive Steering Committee (ESC), with equal representation from FBT and Nirmaan, debuted in June with the following pilot efforts:
- Adopting public schools in an impoverished communities in Bengaluru and Ulsoor, India and
- Providing computer equipment and infrastructure support for an existing Vocational Training Center in Hyderabad, India that coaches more than 300 economically challenged young adults each year to reach gainful employment
